Swarm Removal:
Swarming of bees is a natural reproduction method, normally occurring in spring and identified by a cluster of bees with no established honeycomb or hive. These can be quickly and safely be removed before they have established a hive. We will place the bees into a beehive and relocate. Depending on the complexity and location this is not likely to incur a fee.
Once they have been placed in the hive we will relocate them to an isolated apiary site where they start to build numbers up and have a regular health check. Once they pass all the usual bio-security checks (normally around 6 months) we will place them into an existing apiary.
Hive Removal:
A beehive is an established hive containing honeycomb and filled with brood, honey and pollen. All hive removals are quoted on inspection as time and difficulty can vary greatly.
Once a hive is relocated it will follow our usual bio-security isolation processes before joining our existing apiaries.
Pollination:
We offer a range of pollination services for fruit, vegetables and seed crops to ensure the highest yields to the farmer. We can cover almonds, cherries, apples and more within Victoria. Please contact us directly regarding your requirements.
Hobbyist Mentoring:
Looking to start beekeeping yourself or already have a hive and just need some assistance - we offer a mentoring service within Gippsland to assist all levels of beekeeping.
